basically
i wrote this
bc so many people asked me to
at first
it didn't come
but then
on this rainy day
the story started to flow
its sweet
and adorable
and geesh
i made new friends
*flails* omw, I loved it SO MUCH - seriously, girl, you're SO TALENTED. That was the sweetest story and I ADORE how it ties into the poem (which I love) so well! (and aren't rainy days the best for story inspiration?)
Basically this was EPIC and THANK YOU for sharing it! *hugs*
OMW SAVANNAH THANK YOU <3333333333 I really wanted to poem and this story to be the same you know....like idk, just a longer version? YES RAINY DAYS FOR THE WIN
gahhh girl you're epic <3 THANKS FOR HELPING ME EDIT
This was . . .. so, so beautiful! Like, seriously. If you can write a short story this gorgeous, I can't even imagine how wonderful your full-length books must be!! <3 This is legit my favorite short story EVER!
*flails and dies and screams and stuffs face with ice cream cuz OMW WOW* ehhh hehehehee my novel needs a lot of help. no. way. you're...you're joking right?! GAHH
Oh my goodness!!! <3333 I read the poem first and thought that nothing could get more beautiful -- BUT THAT STORY!?!? *dies* God has given you an amazing gift!! I love, Love, LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!
But like, really, I can't even start with all the love I have for this!!!!! Some of my thoughts: 1. I love that you picked the name Jeremy. I didn't "see" a name reading the poem, but the name Jeremy fits with the personality I pinned to him. 2. SHE HELPED GRANDPOPS GO TO THE GRADUATION, that's why it was such a big deal in the poem, I'm way too happy about that!!!! 3. The story about Jeremy's grandma <3. 4. I love that is was written in the first person. Jeromy is rubbing off on her- now she's writing stories! I actually teared up at how full-circly and beautiful this was. I just love how REAL you made it!!! AND THEN THEY GOT TO KNOW EACH OTHER OVER HOT COCOA, gahhhhh.... (BTW, I had a feeling this was going to be a good story, and so I made MYSELF some hot chocolate to enjoy before I ever started reading... so. Yeah. Kind of felt like a part of the story, haha!) Pretty much; I want more short stories. And you should have had no worries about disappointing us. <3 Thanks Julia!!!!
OMW OMW BRI!!! *waves at you* I was waiting for you to come bc YOU WERE LIKE THE FIRST PERSON WHO WANTED THIS STORY (am so sorry the inspiration took so long lol)
1. *squeals* I legit got the name from the photo. I was like YUP that's him. He's a Jeremy. 2. YES YES YES YES i almost had her go to the graduation but I knew that would mess the whole meeting and bumping into each other again like in the poem lol soooo I changed that. 3. YOU GOT THAT. omw. *squeals* I was worried people wouldn't understand 4. YOU GOT THIS TOO *dies* okay yes THANK YOU no way no way no way. gahhhhhhhhhhhh I CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH you felt like you were part of it? *runs around wildly* eeepppp okay *goes to write more* THANK YOU BRI
Awwwwww, were you really?!?!?!? That makes me happier than you know :D!!! It's always fun to know that someone you look forward to "hearing from" is waiting to hear from you too, haha :). I love your blog posts! And this story was worth the wait, don't apologize!!! *is thinking of reading it again* gah! I know, I was soooooooo scared he was only going to get to go if she went with him, but I could NOT stand the thought of their meeting being different- and even worse was if she was going to disappoint him!!!! Yes I got all of that, and other little things that I loved that you took the time to add! But those were my favorites :). No, thank YOU! I loved getting to read this story so much!
