i have fallen in love with my surroundings again
i've taken in the people around me,
squeezing them into my heart, making it throb with adoration
i have people tell me that i need to get out, explore before i set my roots down
that i shouldn't accept the place that i've been placed
but i disagree. and in fact, i have traveled and i do cherish new and far places
despite that, i am certain. this is home for me. my small town with small town people
i kinda like places where you can smile and recognize everyone in the store
i guess i believe in love at first sight
